I have the honour to inform you that the Reverend R. Haywood Kidd, whose appointment as Colonial Chaplain of Hongkong in the Lawit Service was notified to you by my Despatch No. 65 of the 26th of May last, will leave this country for the Colony by the Steamer "Ulysses" which is advertised to sail from Liverpool on the 26th August.
